This handmade shade is made using an original ordinance survey paper map, you can feel the original creases of the paper on the shade, this is truly unique as each year the Os maps are updated this one is from 1941. It lights up beautifully and covers the main town of Launceston , and includes Lifton, Werrington, St Clether, Lydford and Bridestowe and all of the nearby villages including part of Dartmoor.

This shade is a one off and is a 20 cm lamp base fitting, please note this is made from a re-purposed original map so will have some signs of age which all adds to it's beauty and uniqueness.

The shade fitting will fit a standard bayonet cap holder and can also be used with Edison screw (E27) lamp holders the most common in Europe by merely removing the converter plug.
